Reilly Plumbing and Heating is a family-owned, full-service plumbing and HVAC company with locations in Shullsburg and Darlington. Reilly Plumbing and Heating has been serving Southwest Wisconsin and surrounding areas since 1964. Services offered includes plumbing and HVAC services for residential, commercial, and industrial fields.
Jim and Mickey Reilly started Reilly Plumbing and Heating in 1964, opening their first location in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. To keep up with the quick growth and demand of the company, a second location was opened in Darlington, Wisconsin in 1996. That same year, Jim and Mickey Reilly sold the business to the second generation of Reilly's, who remain the owners. The co-owners are brothers Tom and Ted Reilly. “We worked for Dad (Jim Reilly) when we were younger,” Tom said. “We would help on projects wherever we could, and we watched Dad do plumbing and heating work all around town. Watching how Dad ran the business helped when it came time for us to take over.”
Jim Reilly remained working for the company until he was nearly 90. When he owned the business, the work was 100% residential. When the second generation took over the business, they expanded into commercial work which now makes up about 70% of their work. A couple of their current larger projects include cheese factories throughout the area and the Potosi Brewery. Reilly Plumbing and Heating is made up of 15 employees with 7 trucks out on the road for work assignments every day.
